ordering the lunch special before 1pm should ensure it is reasonably fresh, and hot? Served cold (they were meant to be hot). Explained situation, apologies accepted and they tried again. Not heated through second time around. Claimed they cooked dishes again. Even tea was tepid. Power outtage? Won't be rushing back. Hot and satisfying lunch at Shanghai Dumpling cafe around the corner saved our lunch experience.
Yum cha was fresh and delicious except for one set of dumplings which was slightly off. Completely understandable given the place has recently changed management and they must be going through a few teething issues, they replaced them immediately and were very embarassed. The wait staff was worried we wouldn't like certain dishes because one of us was white, so over all a great experience with a couple significant flaws. I'll be coming back sometime for sure though
