We arrived early before the rush and ordered our breakfasts. The waitress was friendly and polite and promptly gave us table water and glasses. Our cappuccinos arrived quickly and were very nice but maybe a little weak if you like stronger coffee. Our breakfasts were a good size and very nicely made and presented. The prices are OK too. There was a constant stream of customers arriving to order take away coffees while we were there so that is a good sign of a good local café. We have dined at Butter Cream on a few occasions previously and have always been happy with our experience. It appears that new people are running the café now but that is fine too.
After a very early start to the day we found ourselves looking for a decent brunch option. The bacon and egg roll sounded like what we needed ... and it was! Honestly, the best we've ever had. Egg scramble/omelette with beautifully crisp (but not overdone) bacon, spinach, homemade tomato relish on toasted Turkish! The staff are ultra friendly, efficient. The place is clean, good range breafast/brunch menu. I didn't get to try the coffee but judging by the high volume of foot traffic coming for their morning brew I'd say it's good. Prices were pleasingly low. I really rate this cafe!
