Walked past Lone Star every time I go and eat at The District at Chatswood interchange and decided that I had to try and the all you can eat ribs for $29.95 - what a yummy bargain! They have been advertising that on a board outside the restaurant! False advertising. We sat down and the waiter came and served us and told us that we had to finish our ribs and wings before we can order more. Fair enough. Out came a large plate with 3-4 ribs and 2 chicken wings and some chicken meat and huge huge portion of chips. So we finish the dry ribs and lovely tender chicken wings and asked for a refill. No, no, no. You haven't finished your chips which I never do , but now with a portion that could feed 2-3 people on my plate, there was no way I could do that! You can never get a second serve unless you're a voracious hungry diner and if you manage to, you'll never get past 2nd serve. I told the waiter that on nowhere was it stated that. He called another waiter to explain who apologized that the waiter that served us was new! No excuse. I demanded the manager who was a lady and she told me the terms and conditions wee on their Facebook page!!! What!!! I asked her if she expected all her customers to have read her Facebook page before they dine? I insisted it was false advertising. She then said she's just a worker and would I write in her comments book so that her boss would know. Guess what- they are not trying to get new isomers because the restaurant is still empty every time I walk past which is at least 3 times a week. Will any of the new customers that try go back again? No.Not recommended. Such a scam. They should be reported! I recommended they write the terms in the menu handed to customers when they go in, not sure if they've done that as I have no intention of trying the food again. Don't go or ask questions before you sit down.
