Great food, great service, and great $9 lunch specials! We came for tapas one night, and ordered chicken and potato croquettes (nice but heavy) and the crispy pork with pineapple and yoghurt (also delicious, but quite heavy food after awhile). Still, we were very impressed and returned the next day for lunch. Beautiful inventive salads!
There are great specials available, so my friends and I visited on a thursday night for a few drinks and their 2 for 1 burgers. All burgers are $18 each and come with a side of chips and aioli, and on thursdays that's even better value. I chose the lamb burger which has a rosemary hash brown, beetroot relish, slices of cherry tomato, lettuce and spring onion, and sour cream. The burger was delicious and full of sauces that ran down your hand- not the neatest food option for going out for drinks but was full of flavour and tasty. The service and drinks were also great, but nothing exceptional that you wouldn't find at other bars. Seating in the downstairs bar is a little difficult for larger groups (more than 5). moodandfood.wix.com
